La Cala de Finestrat, as part of its local festivals, will once again be the scene of the National Dog Show this Sunday, September 28. The test is organized by the Canine Society of Alicante, in collaboration with the City Council of Finestrat, and will take place from 10:00 a.m. More than 100 specimens are expected to participate, both purebred and mixed breed dogs.

This contest, of which several editions have already been held in La Cala, has been very well received and participated. This year, in addition, it will have a solidarity purpose, since the five euros that the registration of the mixed breed dogs is worth, will go to La Cruz Protectora de Animales.

As in each competition, different judges will assess the canine morphology in relation to the recognised standard: breed category, by age and by sex.
