Finestrat becomes this summer the perfect setting to celebrate the different cultural events that are scheduled for this month of July, reinforcing, in this way, the municipality's commitment to culture as a complement to the tourist offer. Residents and visitors are invited to the literary presentation, the summer cinema and the jazz concert at the Auditori de El Castell.

This Saturday, the 11th, starts with the presentation of the book "Pluralidades de la soleadad", the new collection of poems by María Meilán Castro, published by Editora BGR. The meeting will be at the House of Culture, at 7:00 p.m., and will be attended by the author, who will be accompanied by Marta Canals, Heriberto Morales, Natalia Ladur and Juan Tarancón, who will participate in a staging, created especially for this occasion. Admission will be free.

The summer cinema on the beach of La Cala is a classic that is repeated every year when these dates arrive. The next screening will be on Thursday, July 16, at 10:00 p.m., and the film that can be seen is "Space Jam". It is recommended to bring a towel or chair, as the screen is placed on the seashore.

The open-air shows continue in the municipality of Finestrat. On this occasion the stage will be the Auditori de El Castell, in the heart of the historic center, and the protagonist will be the jazz band Big Baam Banda. An extraordinary evening that will begin at 10:00 p.m.
