Finestrat celebrates the arrival of spring in style. When the Easter holidays are coming to an end, the old town dresses up in medieval clothes and celebrates a new edition of the Gastronomic and Traditional Market. Weeks before, the main artery in the heart of this charming town in the Marina Baixa, is decorated with coloured lanterns, crocheted, to welcome neighbours and visitors who come to enjoy one of the best weekends that the town experiences.

The Gastronomic and Traditional Market is consolidated in its first decade of life. This is the tenth edition and once again it will take you back to this charming historic center centuries ago, when the clothes were different and the trades, too. What has managed to reach the present day have been the rich popular gastronomic recipes that can be tasted at the different stalls that are throughout the winding streets Nou, Sant Vicent, Plaça del Poble and Castellets.

The varied program is designed to entertain all audiences. Human towers of the Muixerenga d'Alcant, demonstration of ancient trades, live performances and a children's program There will be no shortage of guided tours, carried out by Finestrat Tourism staff, to stroll through the historic center, discover corners full of charm and immerse yourself in the history of this town in the Marina Baixa. PARKING SPORTS AREA AND SHUTTLE BUS TO THE MARKET

If you come with your vehicle you can park in the main car park where the La Foia sports area (pavilion) is located. From there there will be a shuttle bus connecting to the Mercat with continuous departures: from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
