The silence and the sea breeze caress the early bird tourists who visit the cove at dawn

Watching the sunrise in La Cala during this month of May is one of the great pleasures that every visitor should experience. The fresh sea breeze, the first rays of the sun of the day and the silence invite you to look for the beautiful corners of this small cove. It is a moment of peace that contrasts with the hustle and bustle that a few hours later will take the streets. Stillness allows nature to become the protagonist. Suddenly, it comes to the fore and can be seen in all its glory.

It is the prize with which nature surprises the early riser: The most intimate cove, the most genuine, the one that best knows how to convey the feeling of harmony. Hardly anyone is looking at it yet. Everything is still silent. And everything is blue. The immensity of the sea, seen from any angle, with the Isla de los Periodistas on the horizon. Nothing can alter this small instant because it is ephemeral.

A few hours after the first rays of the sun were projected on the sea, this corner of Finestrat begins to wake up. The waiters in the bars and cafes begin to place chairs and tables on the terraces overlooking the beach. The first delivery trucks begin to make an appearance. Little by little, the first tourists appear, spreading their towels on the sand. And as the minutes go by, La Cala emerges, which we all keep in our retina: the bustling and vibrant. The one that is always on the move.
