The month of June begins and its cultural program already includes part of what will be the Cultural Summer. It is a classic with almost three decades of history, which is held mainly in La Cala, although in recent years the Auditori de El Casell has also acquired a special prominence as a stage. The starting signal will be given by the XXVIII Trobada de la Cançó a la Mar and choral music. This meeting of choirs will be held on Saturday, June 20, at 10:00 p.m., in the Plaça de l'Àmfora.

The month starts with an exhibition of drawing and painting by the infant students of the Puig Campana Art School. The inauguration will be this Friday, June 5, at 6:00 p.m., at the Museu de Finestrat. The exhibition can be seen until June 24. Admission is free.

The theater will also have its space in the cultural agenda for the month of June. On Sunday 14, at 5:00 p.m., at the Casa de Cultura there will be a children's theater show by Finestrat and the play to be performed is entitled "The crazy story of all stories". The month will close with a musical comedy: On Saturday 27, at 10 p.m., at the Auditori de El Castell, "Tres sombreros de copa" will be performed.

Of course, the programme cannot miss the literary presentation. The first will be on Friday 19, at 7:00 p.m., in the Parc Alcalde Miguel Llorca. The book is entitled "La Fúmiga. Havia de pasar" by the author Vicente Xavier Contrí. The afternoon is extraordinary because literature will be accompanied by music, as there will be a small concert by the musical group Cultivepà. The second presentation will be the play that Alejandro Sellés Owen has written about his mother, "Every look counts". It will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 7:00 p.m., at the Casa de Cultura de Finestrat.
